New Steemian arrived - Liz! My Introduction ๐
Hi everyone! I am Liz, 25 years old, from Los Angeles, California. Nice to meet you all! I am so happy that finally my account has been activated, soo here is my first post!
I first heard about Steemit on YouTube a couple of months ago, and then from friends as well and thought it sounds interesting! Reading more, I decided to try it. I am very excited to find great content on here and to upload content that - hopefully - you guys will like!
I am a pretty creative person, mostly I love singing and music in general. Also, photography, modeling, makeup and working out, so if you'd like to follow me, that is definitely what you're going to see primarily.
I am mostly active on Instagram and thinking about starting to post on DTube and YouTube soon. Still trying to figure everything out though ๐

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 โ Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20โ30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 โ Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 โ Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 โ Be yourself.
5 โ Be interesting and informative.
6 โ Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called โshitpostsโ by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 โ Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. Thatโs the best way to attract followers.

One more point. Submitting photos in the various photo contests is a great way to earn a bit of Steem and to attract followers. Here are links to 3 contests.

For entries into those photo contests, short posts are OK. But it's a good idea to add a bit of text explaining the photo, to give the post some meat and to make it more interesting.
