Quality content, determination and as much as we don't want to admit - some luck, are the ingredients. Still waiting for that luck part myself ;-P
Luck is nice. Knowing how to product quality content and having determination is a talent and skill that not everyone has... so you are lucky you have it. (There.. that's a little bit of luck in your favor) :)
