The amazing adventure of a backpackers couple of 40 years old: follow the "Road2Horizon"!

Hi Steemit people! We are Alessandra and Brian and we are enthusiastic to join this community, sure we will find some new good friends. We are as different as day and night, but we have recognized each other in an embrace while dancing tango. We can’t stand the crowds and queues. We love the sense of freedom of travelling, chasing the falling stars and to be amazed from the magic of nature. 

Hi! I am Brian a guy of few words, with a rational inquiring mind and hermit spirit. I hate intrusiveness, senseless futility things and social conventions. I like to look at the ironic side of life's events and to capture fragments of the world through the lenses of a camera.

Hola! I am Alessandra, my friends told me that I have a spicy personality and tormented soul. I am idealistic and not very diplomatic. Like all pisces I am sensitive, emotional and melancholic. I prefer to listen than to talk. I hate indifference, loud noises and running out of cigarettes. 

So we did it! We have officially decided to abandon forever our comfortable couch and hit the road. We will be backpackers with 40+ years on our back and a one way ticket in our hand. Destination… Well, we will say it very soon! We always thought our city (Venice) is beautiful, but the world is so big, so assorted with its diversity, cultures and traditions. How to resist the urge to see and learn about what’s on the other side? Curiosity is enormous, and imagination is not enough.

Through a screen we can reach every corner of the planet in one second, with just a click discover places and people although so far away, but breathing reality in person is quite different! So we decide to become "Road2Horizon": two travellers hitting the roads of this little planet, with amazement in the heart and running after the horizon.

We are here writing this blog to share with you the emotions, the difficulties, the encounters and the stories of this amazing trip.
