Introducing myself and my talentsueemit community
Hey there steemians,
My name is Reggie, I'm new to steemit, I recently opened this account with the help of a friend (@kvng1 ) who is familiar to the platform.
I'm an artist and a student in the university studying engineering. I opened this account because I've been drawing and making sketches for awhile to no avail, I haven't been able to cash commissions as easily as my.peers. I usually post my artworks on Facebook, instagram and Twitter but I only got promised commissions and at the end, nobody fufilled their promise. So my friend introduced me to steemit, he said instead of waiting for commissions or posting my works and end up with no pay or commissions, I could upload my works on steemit and hopefully, I'd get likes and votes that would profit me financially and connect me with gifted intellectuals on the platform that would help and support me to do better.
And most of the time, I'm idle(I.e busy with the things that are not profitable) and I believe that this is going to be a platform where I can channel my positive energy for some profit.
I'd also like some words of advice from the members of this community that'll view this post and I'd like to meet new people, talents and get to know how the system works
I'm happy to be here and hope I get the most out of it.

I wanted to be one of your first upvotes and also give you a super warm welcome to the Steemit community. For me, the 2 best things about being a Steemian are sharing and automation. The sharing part is when you upvote someone else's post, you get a piece of the curation (money/crypto) from that post (and vice versa).
