MY FIRST POST IN STEEMIT
Hi Steemit, here goes my first post, I the lion.
On a normal day in a coffee shop, we gets into a discussion of how there'd come a day when social sites would have to vacate the space as the authors gets tired of writing too much and all they ends up getting is likes and nothing more to help clear off the bills spent while as trying to impress a 100k followers.
From a mere thought to a latter full-night googling on ways to monetize the simple content one scribbles down, he stumbles upon a heaven, Steemit.
And the big homework starts. From a tiny village in Kenya, with little to offer to the outside world he thinks of he'd make a coin.
Moments afterwards, he's signing up for a site that he know little about and to his biggest shock, it would take min of a week to weeks for his approval.
A thought reverting back to the less-thankful Facebook hits him, but again the need to pay the bills puts him under control.
After the approval, he spent best of his first three days watching around and studying this system and gets to learn of a strange currency, a currency not much known to him but on finding traces of fellow Kenyans gives him an assurance that indeed it might turn out to being a heaven.
He's still learning but this time with a different mentality, to get to know people and make friends alongside learning.
So, I present to you a student, please feed him with nothing other than the right grass. Let him have fun and get to love and explore this new land, unknown to him for such a long time he's been idling in other places.
