Greeting Steemians - I'm NickDavison

After finding out about Steemit earlier this week, and learning how the platform works, I couldn't wait to create and account and get involved!

About Me

I'm a 41 year old male living in the UK (West Yorkshire). I run a small digital marketing company, building wordpress websites, managing social media accounts for clients, and creating all types of digital content ranging from quizzes and giveaways, to blog posts.

I'm really looking forward to being a part of this commmunity going forward, and truly believe that Steemit has the potential to become something really special. It's going to take a lot of hard work, but this tadpole has aspirations!

Hobbies

I read a lot of fantasy epics, and am currently halfway through Katharine Kerr's immensely good Deverry Cycle series. I'm also a massive MMORPG fan, and currently spend most of my spare time playing Richard Garriots new game, Shroud of the Avatar.

Those of you old enough to remember Ultima Online (Surely I'm not the only old time MMORPGer here?) will likely remember Richard Garriot as "Lord British".

Shroud is a great game, and reminds me of the old UO days in many ways. It's still in Beta, but dont let that put you of if you are thinking of checking it out, the last few releases have been really good.

I also enjoy creating digital artwork, mainly working in vector format, using programs Serrif Drawplus and Adobe Illustrator. I made the below prototype "follow me" button whilst writing this post, if anyone wants to use it on their own posts, feel free. (If you want to give it a quick click and make sure it works, thats fine too! :)
