NCH101 Says Hello to All

I'm in a thoughtful mood. I have no idea what to make of this. Here's to all of us making history. My name is Nick. I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. My purpose in participating in this community is to help myself heal. I am heartsick and seem to have no purpose or direction in my life. I work a dead-end job; I live below the poverty-line; and it feels like sometimes the only thing I have to offer to the world is my abject sadness and sorrow, albeit as quietly as possible and hopefully to no bother to anyone else. I come home everyday tired, lonely, and broken. I am grieving lost time that I'm not sure I ever had in the first place. My family of origin is spread out across the country and world and our relationships at the moment are mostly tenuous and empty. I know in time that is subject to change, though, so as difficult as it is to open up with this kind of introduction I think it's a necessary step for me to take to continue to become a part of the world again. To anyone who stopped by, thanks for reading. As I get more in tune with the platform I'm sure I'll be visiting some of you and upvoting along the way.
