The Intro

After a long await, I have my account finally approved. A big “Hi” to all my fellow steemians my name is Praveen Kumar Singh from Kolkata, India, and I am a student. I can't say that writing is my passion or I am a hard keen writer. Learning something new and to share my experiences for that I am here for, and to earn ofcourse.

How I found Steemit?

While I was hovering over in google search for one of my school projects which was “Social Marketing and how it is changing the world” I ended up myself in one of the youtube videos which was on crypto currencies and there I found Steemit, a social media which actually pays for the content you write. There are many great writers out there on Steemit who are literally doing a great job through their articles and blog posts, providing a great deal of information in various respective fields (Some of the blog posts did help me to cover up the topics for my college assignments). I don’t have a clear idea about Steemit or how it works, since I am new here, for what I have learnt till now that Steemit is for the people who want to learn something, the thirst for knowledge and curiosity to ask questions and public awareness about the various trends which is occuring all over the globe.

Why Steemit?

It’s a rapid growing platform which is giving an opportunity to earn. There are many social networking websites like Facebook, Reddit, Twitter and many more where you get to know people socialize yourself and yes they are doing a great job but for the bloggers if you want more engagement to your blog post or you want more people to read your content, you need to pay for the promotion and stuffs. However its not in the case on Steemit, Steemit is a great platform for the young bloggers where they are getting paid for the piece of content they write. It’s providing a great boost to the social newbies who are thinking for a startup but end up in a compact environment because of lack of funds in order to reach more people or engagement. My best wishes to the Developers of Steemit who created such a great platform where we are getting a great opportunity to earn something besides exposing our hidden talents to the social public media.
