Japan - Mt. Fuji

This is one of my favorite photos from my first visit to Japan. This was taken in Gotemba, a small city south of Tokyo, with a view of Mount Fuji it the background. As calm as the photo seems, the day of this photo was hectic. Starting at 7am, my family and I rented a car and drove to Lake Kawaguchi where we had a tonkatsu lunch at a small local restaurant and enjoyed the view where the base of Mount Fuji kissed the lake. Next, we drove another hour to Fuji Speedway where we watched some test day race cars fly around the historical Formula 1 track and we even got to drive GoKarts of our own. Lastly, we drove an hour back to our hotel, dropped our bags off and drove up the hill to find a good view for sunset, and that's where we found this Buddhist temple.
