one fast solution: write a status in your official twitter or facebook profiles that you are part of steemit
i see that this your official facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/yourbreastself/. if you post your steemit article there, you are verified and there is no identity thief :)
Yes I did that! Also posted on Twitter and added screenshot of that :) All legit
When new users use the #introduceyourself tag on steemit it best helps them to provide some sort of "authentication" method. For example, if you own the YourBreastSelf.com site, you can announce there that you are now also available on steemit. Other users just post a pic of them holding a steemit sign. Any method that proves you are not an identity squater will benefit you on this community :o)
