Introduction

Hello there. I’m Pasqualino Sorice and I am a computer engineer graduated at “Università degli studi di Roma La Sapienza”, entrepreneur and dogs loving. I want to thanks @claudiop63 that allowed me to know this fantastic community. I want to start with a simple photo that summarize what I like to do in my life :)

University

My career begins with the university application. I come from commercial studies in the primary school than, my first year in Engineering in Computer Science was quite difficult. The two most challenging exams were Calculus and Physics. After a year of trial, I understood that my study method was completely wrong. So, I change my mindset:  I went from superficial study (I used to skip all the theoretical parts) to a more rigorous one. This change has been reflected in my life. I will always be grateful to the university for this. In my steemit journey I will post some of my university project. Some of them are quite simple, but there two or three that can be very interesting for the community. 

Girlfriend

Another important change in my life was to meet my actual girlfriend Chiara (Pharmacist student). She puts in my life a big amount of stability. She allows to me to better focus my objects and she donates me a lot of love. She turns one hard decision to a very easy one, it is a sort of magic that I’m having trouble to explain. I travel a lot with her and we have seen some beautiful places that I will share with you later. 

Amateur Photographer 

At a certain point, I wanted to run away from the rigorous and mathematical environment of the engineering. I discovered that one of my passion was take a photo with my phone, then I asked to me: Why don’t you improve your photography skills? Then I start to see some videos on YouTube and not so later, I buy my first (and only for now) DSLR camera: EOS 1200D. It is a very entry level camera but at that time my budget was quite limited.

Then the surprise: also in photography, there are some mathematical rules -.-. But this helps me to learn relatively fast all the technical rules for this hobby. After this I run into a trouble: technically speaking the photos were perfect but not very beautiful. I asked to me why. A lot of time I asked to me why. In this case Google helped me. After a research, I found a fantastic book: The Photographer's Eye: Composition and Design for Better Digital Photos. I recommend this book to all the new photographer. It explains how to compose a photo. Here we are with the creative part of this hobby. Also the composition has the rules to follow but the creativity makes possible to break this rules. In that moment, you create something that is original and unique.

Guitar student

As I said in the title I have an addiction, I want to learn everyday something new. The music has always been an important part of my life. I like 80’s groups like Queen, Dire Straits, Toto for the “soft” music. I also like groups like AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses and so on for the “hard” music. Then I say: I want to learn to play an instrument. My choice has fallen on the guitar. I always be enchanted by this awesome instrument.

My dog Layla

I love dogs. I will always love them forever. I have a sort of addiction (another one) for this four legs fur ball. As I see a dog in the street I try to pet it no matter the cleanliness (I know, isn’t liable but I cannot resist). I have a beautiful dog called Layla. With her I feel in peace and happy, regardless of what happened during the day. I think this is a very powerful anchor for the hard times.  

Tattoo

This is an unconventional part of my life. I really like tattoos. I have three on my body but I don’t exclude new ones in the near future. Every tattoo on my skin has a specific meaning for me. I will post some details about them later. For now, I show you only the photos.

Promo Inside

Promo Inside was my first company where I start to apply my engineering skills. In this company, I didn’t find only some colleagues but I found a family. We create together, side by side, with sweet and blood (figuratively speaking of course) an amazing and complex platform that can helps other companies to improve their marketing and allows them to create a native app with minimal effort, have an order management, create a landing page and other awesome feature. I’m very proud of what we have created in the past two years and I always be grateful to my colleagues to make me the jump from academic thinking to a real world thinking. Hubern

With the help of some components of Promo Inside I create my first company, Hubern (website) and I became an entrepreneur, just like Steve Jobs (I hear your laughter). Thanks to a network of professionals, we help startuppers, small companies and whoever needs a technical support for its ideas or projects. We are at the beginning of our path but we work hard every day for our final goal; Make Hubern a reference point for anyone want to start a business from scratch. 

Cryptocurrency and blockchain

In this paragraph, I want only to say you that the cryptocurrencies have two aspect that intrigue me: financial and technical. Soon I will post some information about some projects that I’m working on right now.  Sorry for my not so perfect English but this type of work on Steemit will also help me to improve my English skills.
