Soy de mar y río
con venas de agua salobre,
nada tengo que me sobre
modero calor y frío.
Llevo ajustado el brío
para el barco de la vida,
si el horizonte convida
a surcar aguas lejanas,
que en horas tempranas
el puro sol consolida.
Mixta savia de brebajes
sentada en la piel morena,
que en la rizada melena
va anunciando mestizaje,
con exóticos paisajes
de las selvas más profundas,
que razas meditabundas
en su cósmica visión,
nos legaron con pasión
entre muy sangrientas tundas.
