Made a Sale Even Before My First Introduction - Thank You STEEMIT and Peerhub!

Wow, what a cool community at Steemit!
I must admit that when I first heard about steemit earlier this year, I thought it was a scam. Hearing about people making a lot of money for just posting - well, it sounded too good to be true and like a promotional scheme by the creators.
Me and my husband and some others on our team have been in Internet Marketing for quite a few years now, and we sell software and other products - but not the "get rich quick" kind.
I made my first sale of one of our software today through Peerhub!

A Little About Me...
I recently turned 30 years old (gah! I'm missing being 20-something already. Lol!)
I'm an active member at our Church here in Surigao.
...and I like to cook, watch The Walking Dead (jeez, the 23rd is taking forever to get here!),
And I enjoy helping people out who have less means and opportunity than I have had.

Ty. Much appreciated. It seems that Peerhub and Steemit are much more likely to be successful than Open Bazaar. I've been on OB for weeks and no sales at all, but some have been making sales now and then. It's like people are scared to buy anything on OB.
I had an open bazaar too... it just didn't move me.
OB was a disappointment. They seem to be focused on the design and tech part of things a bit much, and not doing any promotion to the masses. Steemit, on the other hand, is amazing. The entire setup is genius, and I would say revolutionary (a true "game changer", as the Internet Marketing crowd would put it - Lol). I wish I would have come on board earlier.
Good job verifying @joanaltres So many new people here just don't understand how important that is. Plus it is awesome that you are selling on Peerhub! Great job.

Ty @streetstyle Rather than just barreling in here, I read a lot about this community first before posting. It's a truly great community and I respect the tradition. I hope it can stay great.

Lol. Yes, we still have a lot of people here that sleep without sheets or blankets, but less so this time of year. I've got a nice big comforter for myself.
I remember a friend way back my childhood days. They are from Surigao and we enjoy listening to their intonations. Kumusta na ang Surigao karon? I have an auntie living at Dinagat island.
Surigao is doing fine. We finally have a McDonalds in Surigao City. Lol. Yes, a lot of people think our Surigaonon dialect sounds like child-speak, and I guess they are right. :)
