Introducing The Hope Bank Project
The Hope Bank Project (@hopebank) is a Steemit account set up where all SBD earned, donated etc, will be fed into and used to power up SP and never taken from the account, so that hope and assistance can be given in the form of decent upvotes to help other Steemit users with financial assistance in times of need.
When the account gets to 10,000 SP, I plan to distribute 10 votes a day to a single person (on recent posts and comments) needing financial help on Steemit. To start I would try to do this all week for a single account, so the amount will be a little more significant. I would let the person know in advance so that they create enough content to be voted on.
The Hope Bank will be a completely a non-profit based account and everything being fed into building it up to be a significant vote(s) to give hope and financial assistance
To get to the starting goal of 10,000 SP I will write daily inspirational and hope related posts with my @hopehuggs account and donate 100% of earnings with Steemwhales (a way to send your earnings from your post to someone else), I will solicit donations and delegations and power up and keep growing SP for as long as the project can keep going.
I am in process of creating awareness for the project and asking for support for the project, in terms of upvotes, resteems, donations, and delegations. Asking people if they want to ghostwrite, or dedicate a post a week via Steemwhales to Hope Bank, Just a few ideas so far.
Everything will be powered up to SP.
There may be some sort of screening may be required for people asking for help, but I personally inclined to let karma be the judge of genuineness.
The biggest goal is the be the Hope Bank of Steemit,providing hope and help where needed. The support beacon of Steemit. "spreading the seeds of hope"
It is still in the early days of planning, so if you'd like to have some input, share ideas and get involved to help make this project a huge success, @sircork has been kind enough to let me have a channel on the YouAreHOPE discord group
