Its been a while : untalented introduction volume #2

Hi fellow steemian friends and future friends , hope you are all better , compared to my 1st introduction https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@herby/66dili-newbie-introduction-its-me-myself-and-herby , seems that was just the tip of the iceberg as what they say, most of it is about what i like and a little percent of #WhoAmI so thanks to @surpassinggoogle and the #untalented family I was given a chance to let you enter new a world, a dangerous and amazing world! my world! haha, a world where it made me the person I am, mold my 58.97% of being me, the BPO world in where we take inbound calls from the US and assist customer with their concern haha. it started on the same month 8 years ago, on my way home one sunny afternoon when someone handed me a piece of paper, it was a job fair, cut the story short i went for it and applied, I was in training for 1 month and then got certified , it was a roller coaster ride of hell haha, you need to speak in english specially when you are a new hire, even in the pantry and you need to buy something you need to speak in ENGLISHHHHHHHH!! how hard is that? its not that hard, but when you are new? talking in english even in the pantry is like you being naked, its like you whispering your every word haha, can i have some of that smoke fish? (Tinapa) how much is that smoke fish? (tinapa) hahaha how much is the pork marinated in soy sauce and vinegar with a pinch of pepper,laurel leaves and garlic? (adobo) hahaha, the good old days... the good old days haha, I still remember my first call, an irate customer, shouting like its the end of the world, but that was nothing compared to my mom when shouting and screaming at me hahaha.. after a year of hard work and training I got promoted as a support and after a while a Team Manager! haha amazing!!! this is where I discovered my passion of being a leader, leading people to greatness, making sure that their dreams are part of your dreams, I learned from those leaders who came before me, my masters, my mentors.
I also learned from those people around me, each and every individual that I handled is challenge, I think I handle hundreds of people already, anyways people come and go, some stayed and some need to go to look for better opportunities.

For the other leaders that I look up to, being in this environment will push your mental and physical limits, beside your from graveyard shift , where you stay for 9 hours or more, sometimes for leaders, we need to stay for a couple of hours in the office. To do some action planing , meeting and stuff, so far I'm still enjoying it since its for me to learn new leadership skills.

What I love about BPO :

• you will meet different kinds of people that will teach you life itself. (good and bad apples)
• you will learn something that you wont learn in school. ( that's a promise)
• you will earn more money. ( still depends on your spending habits)
• you will grow as person as long as your know how to handle contentment.
• lots of learning activities , training ETC.
• you will get to travel to different places
• and more!!!

Side Effects of BPO :

• stress (its good since it keeps you alert, but sometimes deadly so don't stress yourself)
• you will be a vampire (since you are always awake at night)
• your blood will turn into coffee
• you will have more jackets =)

I'm still on my journey and learning as a leader, most of my team already got promoted and have their own teams now, I think that will be my biggest accomplishment of all and that made me proud, as my mentor said, "being a leader means creating or making new leaders"
