WHAT IS IT?
Pinhole photography uses a pinhole camera, which is one that does not have optical systems (lenses or lenses) based on the refraction of light, being replaced by an orifice (called pinhole), which is responsible for forming the image.

HISTORY

Very early in history (from 500 BC), Greeks like Aristotle and Euclid wrote about pinhole cameras that occurred naturally, such as light passing through a woven basket or interwoven leaves.

David Brewster, an English scientist, was one of the first to practice pinhole photography in the 1850s. He was also the one who coined the term "pinhole" (English name for pinhole cameras).
