Introduction: The future is Gnar

What's going on guys?! My name is Jaime aka Gnar and I'm new to the Steemit community. A little background on me: I'm 26 and currently settled out in the Pacific Northwest area. I'm a weapon repair specialist in the US Army. Last year, I became interested in the cryptocurrency community and have since become a big supporter of blockchain technology. Aside from learning more about crypto, my interests outside of work include all types of working out, fishing, hiking, camping, metal shows, tattoos, and whiskey. On to my main reasoning for this post, I will be deploying X country within the next few weeks and would like to use Steemit to document my experiences and as a way to keep interacting with the world as well as giving a glimpse into what life is like in a place where a military presence has been built over the course of nearly 2 decades. I'd also like to eventually dive into things and topics that made me into the person I became. Any and all support, questions, criticisms from the community are gladly welcomed and I look forward to doing my part in bringing more awareness to the Steemit platform!
