Hello Everyone!!! This is My First Post

Hello everyone out there in the Steemit world.  This is my first post here or anywhere.  I've really never been a Facebook fan.  But as I am a single dad of 3 wonderful kids, I really never had time to get on there.  Don't think I"m really missing anything.  But here is a little about me and why I'm making time to get on Steemit.  

Like I said earlier, I am a single dad of 3 wonderful kids.. About 8 years ago I had a very bad wreck and I am very lucky to even be alive.  Let me see what all happened to me?  Ok to start I broke my nose, 3 ribs and had a concussion.  My collar bone was sticking out and they had to take cartilage out of my knee to put it back in and hold it in place.  I had tore my bicep off and it had to surgically put back in.  They didn't quite get it right so now I can flex it and it balls up like a baseball.  My kids called me Popeye, and laugh now that I am better.  I also had tore everything in my shoulder and have had to have 7 surgeries on it.  I fractured my femur.  I also fractured my lower back and neck. But the worst thing was I broke my pelvis in 3 places and ripped the cartilage that holds it together, and that is the strongest cartilage in the human body.  I had to have part of my hip cut out and inserted in between the two parts of the pelvis.  They then put 2 metal plates in and screwed six 3 inch screws into my pelvis.  This was called fusing my pelvis.  I also separated my hip and had to have a screw put into it to hold it in place.  I had to live in an old folk nursing home for 6 months.  I tell you I'll never put my mom in one of those after my experience there.  I am now on disability and believe me it is so hard to even live on what I get.  Thus the reason I am trying this avenue to make just a little bit of extra income.  I am not asking for anything.  But I would like to be of value to everyone by bringing content that you enjoy.  I admit, I do not fully understand this, so be patient with me.  Anyway that's a little bit about me and what I am hoping to accomplish on here.
