welcome to steemit! When i was younger i been practising Judo and after that Shaolin Kung fu so i can relate in some extent with the struggles and admire you a bit more!
First of all it may seem stupid but in order to avoid fake accounts and people taking advantage of others it will be good to provide us with a photo of yours, a selfie holding a piece of paper with the today's date and your nickname :) think of it as a validation and you can post it as a comment here or upload it in your facebook page and let us know
After that i will gladly help you out and share with you tips and useful guides :)

Also register at steemitchat it's next to your account post photo, if you click the toolbar you will see it. You can use the same name as here in order for people to know it's you. There you can promote your posts, join communities and talk with others more privately if you want!
When and if you make an account there let me know and i ll send you some useful guides for newcomers and also share some tips!
