Your post was certainly very interesting, I'm sorry to hear that you feel disenfranchised however I'm not an American as your posts suggests that you are so I can't comment on your country's issues or why it's citizens might feel disenfranchised.
I don't know that I've seen many posts on Steemit which I would consider to be discussing what lies behind "the veil of secrecy". I certainly don't remember any on occultism, the paranormal or any of the theories all lumped together and labelled "conspiracy theories" in the main trending feed. So if that is the type of information you intend to provide, I'm sure that it will be a welcome addition to the site but perhaps won't be as popular as advertisements of Steemit may have implied.
You mentioned that you don't feed trolls, however I feel that I should let you know that there aren't really any trolls on Steemit. The problem here won't be shifting through trolling comments but rather getting any comments and readers at all. Many people are here solely for the financial incentive and it does have a negative impact on the people who actually want to form a community and exchange ideas and information.
Anyway, don't let what I've said disillusion you in regard to Steemit. I'm looking forward to partaking in the information you alluded to. Just remember to add a few pictures to your posts between paragraphs and I think that will help them to reach more actual readers in oppose to viewers.

When referring to the "veil of secrecy", I am talking about that same veil which the man who we are taught in our histories was the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, said, when he said,
"here are great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of the truth's protective layers. There are places to go beyond belief... "
I am very pleased to hear that there "aren't really any trolls on Steemit". It has been advertised to me as a rather enlightened group of individuals, such as yourself, and I am honored to interact with you herein!
I am here partly for the financial incentive of course, but partly even more so because I believe this site, and sites like it are the future of our society, and I want to feed that future society with my energy now, by using this technology in the current moment!
Thank you for your tips as well with regard to photos. I have a more thorough post that I actually posted (with pictures) before this introductory one, and so please view it as well and comment! I just remembered after the fact, that somewhere in an introductory email to Steemit, it was customary to introduce oneself in a post, so I quickly threw this one together!
