[Extremely regular human voice] Hello, World
Hey what's up y'all, I'm a comic artist and illustrator from Austin, Texas. I make comics about my marriage from time to time. My dog (a brindle greyhound) will occasionally feature in it as well but he does nothing in them just like he does nothing in real life. This is my latest one! I did this one for my wife as a birthday present.
I also make fanart on occasion! Sometimes it is dumb fan art for friends like
and sometimes the fanart is little more refined
Sometimes you might even get to catch a glimpse of my painted work!
Oh to finish up, I uh like traveling to places with much better geography than Austin, drinking good coffee but a lot more bad coffee, reading and enjoying comics, but more importantly, talking shit about those comics, and also playing games set on easy

I love the way you introduced yourself, very creative. I do a personal curation, where i scout for quality content, namely that content which demonstrates originality, relevance, and depth....and when i find it, i feature it in my daily curation feature post: Xposed. My hope is that doing so might bring you more exposure and attention. And deserved rewards.

It looks like you have some different styles going, along with different mediums. Is there one in particular (style, medium) that you prefer over others? Do you have your previous work posted somewhere? I guess I'm wondering if you work for yourself or if you work/have worked for an agency, or some other business.
There seems to be quite a few artists floating around Steemit. Maybe you've found them in the art or comics tags. I believe they have their own communities and initiatives too if you'd like to get involved or at least take a look.

Thanks for the compliments! I try to work in a variety of styles depending on what I want to do and accomplish in any given piece. That being said I like doing comic book art the most. Painting and designing are great but I really feel the visual storytelling of comics is what I like to work on most.

I work mostly digitally but I do like to work with inks, markers, and colored pencils when I work traditionally. I am hoping to find other artists to connect with here on this platform. I love finding new great artists and following their careers!
There are some around, so hopefully you can find ones to your liking. I'm not an artist myself, but I have some projects in development that might require one in the future. There's not really much more to say other than that, so I keep an eye out for the talent that's coming in while trying to build up a following to see if any of my ideas might work here. :)
