Hi! I'm Dawson,

This is a duplicate post because I posted this under "introducemyself" instead. My bad. Anyway...

I'm a poor college student who spends his free time working on vintage computers, playing video games, and playing music.

I have been in the process of restoring a computer from 1972, a DEC PDP-12. It's been going very well so far (might have just jinxed it... Oops). Almost everything is working that has been tested.

I haven't been doing a lot of writing lately for music, but I have been doing a lot of playing. I have been playing guitar for about 8 years and piano for 4. I have recently switched to learning Hammond organ and it's been a blast!

I like to combine my love for circuits and music a lot. So a while ago I was working on a MIDI encoder for an old keyboard, and recently I have been working on a vacuum tube overdrive pedal for my guitar.

I look forward to sharing my projects and things with the wonderful community of Steemit!

Haha, hi Dawson. Things like that happen. Anyhow, welcome to Steemit.

When I arrived on Steemit a few weeks ago I was very confused how this all works.
