We've already demonstrated accessible virtual reality secured and incentivized on the Steem Blockchain with interactive features. A world where everything is art, everything is value, everything is "free." As long as we continue to reward the people making the world better, more beautiful, more loving, we will have exactly the world we've always dreamed of.
Borderless @gabbagallery is our first proof of concept. Enabling anyone to visit this virtual gallery, and talk with people in the virtual gallery much like if you were there in person. This isn't even the tip of the iceberg when we consider what's possible.
Our immediate goals are to finish our webDapp at dlux.io to enable anyone to create and share VR content from a desktop computer. Have the ability to sign transactions(vote, post, comment, shop, learn and get credentials, etc) from inside VR for anyone with a modern web browser on mobile, desktop, and HMD.
We welcome your help as we all turn ideas into reality.

Nice man a real comment and yes we need more real comments and less of the spam we see on steem now WOW why can't steem, just DROP the spammers off the front end, it shouldn't be hard ta all, too many phishing links in those spammers links. Desperate noobs fall for those tricks about free sbd and it sucks

@Haedre @shortcut put me up on something like this a few weeks ago, probably worth staking out; dada.nyc features a social network based on art, where artists communicate through collaborative drawing sessions, and the finished work gets sold for Ethereum on a select market.
Steemit alone could provide, but there's so much more Blockchain technology can do for just about everything, yes art is only the beginning.
In all actuality, art is where it all began.

Art is usually the first thing societies focus on after ensuring survival (food, water, shelter, etc.), I think we're there with Steem, "survival" has been worked out, so now it's time to focus on art.
It's always been art first. We draw pictograms before we turned them into letters and sounds. Every science is the study of art.
I personally see Ethereum as a first mover but unless they can overcome their bandwidth/thruput they won't be making nearly as many advancements as Steem and EOS. Of course are all welcome to pitch in, I just want to keep all the content as accessible as possible. Knowledge should be free; it's what you do with it that counts.

I must say, to me it all seemed a bit cryptic at first, I couldn't really grasp the exact concept. But the tab stayed open and today I finally discover the link to the 3D gallery! :D
So now I am impressed. Still with questions.
If I understand well, soon there's should be a way to easily buy art (or upvote and more) through this kind of interface?
How to somehow get involved in the project or how to follow its development?
Now the obvious question, how do I do to get my art in there? :)

Can't wait to hear about this project as it develops, I'd love to demo it and perhaps pass it along. Great concept, the execution is key; VR and immersive internet (Web 3.0) will sweep the world within the next 20 years. Internet of Things, Quantium Computing, A.I, and of course, Blockchain technology will be the sort of infrastructure to a whole new future. This idea is rather proactive and frames the mindset that regard all art and forms of visual media as a sort of "true" digital currency, the representation of an ideal manifested as a talisman, invoking both thought and criticism.
