RE: Project Kyrill - Cryptocurrency Based Open-World MMORPG

This sounds like fun..

I remember reading an article many years back from an economist who did his thesis on the MMORPG ecosystem..

He tracked the coin in one (possibly WoW) and compared it to how certain items were selling for money online. Compared them adn got a USD value. then estimates the total amount in the online world..

I recall it being something like 'larger than most small countries' or something like that..

Fascinating prospect.

Isn't it? This is partitally where we got the idea from. It's really interesting that so many people can devote enough time into games to build real wealth, but with the probem that it can almost never transfer into the real world, however it's real time being spent in the game - so why shouldn't it be able to transfer?

I fully support that ideal

And I will endeavour to support your project in any way I can..

not the least of which is because I love RPG's...

I think it goes beyond that even. The gaming industry is just as guilty of leveraging the value their users create on their platforms to reap profits without much reward to the players of these huge network based games. We have an opportunity to share the real value with the players that are driving the community and economies of these games. I have been thinking about the potential for decentralized gaming for a while now, glad to see someone implementing a product.
