Introducing the Team from Cook with Us

This is "Us"

On the left is Anna (@offoodandart), middle is Steve (@chefsteve) and on the right Christine (@pandamama).

We come from vastly different walks of life and met on Steemit - how wonderful is that!!

Introducing Anna

Anna was born in the United States but spent her growing years in the Philippines. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics before she moved back to the US which she now calls home. She has a passion for all forms of art and spends her spare time dabbling in the culinary arts and photography. She believes there is no limit to one’s creativity and finds herself constantly inspired by life and visual discoveries.

Introducing Steve

After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in 1999 Steve went to work in the four star restaurants Le Cirque 2000 and Jean Georges, located in New York City.

He also spent time living in Vancouver, Canada. There, Steve worked for Lumiere restaurant (Relais Chateaux) and also baked bread in a traditional French bakery.

Steve eventually found his ideal job by becoming a private chef. Being a private chef offered the chance to travel the world and he was exposed to different cuisines. Steve has been a private chef for the last fifteen years. His travels have taken him from Europe and Africa to Asia and Central America. The experiences from traveling and trying new foods have solidified his belief in constant learning and sharing his knowledge with others.

Introducing Christine

Born in Johannesburg South Africa, lived in London and currently in the Mediterranean island Cyprus, reached "superhost" status in this year for hosting guests. Early years ran her own Real Estate Company and at the same time managed her daughter, Eden Michelle's singing career along with 6 other artists, managing their social media profiles and now moving them over to Steemit.

Christine comes from a long family history in food, her family having started the Steers Group, Milky Lane and Famous Foods in South Africa, where her cousin is currently the CEO. Early years were spent serving customers, running some outlets and being very involved in the general food business from a young age.

We look forward to making lots of new friends in the foodie world.
