Greetings!

Hi everyone!

Here's a quick introduction from Clarkfarmstead.

My wife and I have been together for 6 years and we are fixing to have our first young-in'. We specialize in small scale agriculture and manage as best we can our one acre farmstead.

We both share a deeply ingrained love; not only of the land, but for our country as well. We believe that through prayer and lots of hard work, our quality of life can become greatly improved.

It started as just an idea...

Then one acre, eight chickens, two bee hives and three rabbits later we are finally building it. We hope to share our journey with others as it's experienced, and share ideas with like-minded individuals. We look forward to being a part of this new community!

                  Yay! Another homesteader joins the masses on Steemit! Welcome, welcome, welcome! Here are some things to help as you get your feet wet:

                  1. Follow for Follow - Avoid it and ignore those who may tell you it's the way to succeed here. Posts like "Follow me and I'll follow you back" are frowned upon by quality users here.
                  2. Upvoting - To get the best curation reward for upvoting someone's post, make sure the post is older than 20 minutes. There is an internal timer built into Steemit to not payout curation rewards for early votes--this is to prevent bots (robot accounts) from getting rich just from voting posts.
                  3. Followers - Don't worry about growing the number of followers. Instead, work on growing the people behind the numbers. True followers are much more beneficial than people who just follow you blindly and never come back to your content or interact with you.
                  4. Interact with Others - As you interact, you'll not only gain curation rewards, but you'll also get your name out there as a real person and others will check out your blog and maybe follow you, too.

I'm a #SAHD (stay at home dad) of two and a small scale tomato farmer - it's a wild ride! Have you considered the full-time parenting thing? I don't mean to pry, but it's a question I ask a lot 😋

                          We will definitely be very involved parents. Still brand new to it, so we will see how it goes. That's great that you specialize in tomatoes. I'd love to learn your tips and tricks.
