Hello Steemit from Las Vegas

Hello everyone. My name is Chad, I'm an artist from Las Vegas. I'm here to grow as an artist and share my love for art. I'm fueled partly by my passion to do some art but mostly I'm fueled by caffeine, adrenalin, and gin.

I mostly work in ink, charcoal or plain old #2 pencil but my goal for the year is to do some oil painting and do more figure drawing. I'm also the occasional tattoo artist (I need to do more tattoos because that's where the money seems to be). My favorite subject as an artist is portraits or caricatures of wrinkled up old ugly people but I'll draw just about anything I find interesting and inspiring. I love high contrast.

I'm excited to share some art with people and join a growing community of like-minded people. I welcome a critique of my artwork and I could offer my "expertise" even though I'm still learning and growing. I've also done some stand-up comedy and my claim to fame in that industry is performing at the World Famous Riviera Comedy Club ...once. They must not have liked me because they tore the entire casino down shortly after. Coincidentally, my claim to fame in the art world is I sold some stuff ...once. I'm extremely dry and sarcastic so please try not to take anything I say too seriously.
