I'm sorry to hear you lost your channel. In an extraordinarily simplified version, I'm going to outline what has been going on at YouTube. YouTube wants to be the next NetFlix, Hulu, and Cable TV Provider. So, the big wigs instructed to the Coders to ensure that controversial, questionable or advertiser unfriendly channels would be shadow banned, demonetized, flagged or in simple terms, discouraged from using the platform.

Sadly, this wide-reaching and sweeping algorithm change effected even the most mundane of channels. If the algorithm wasn't bad enough they went a step further by implementing the new 1k subscriber and or 4k yearly hour of views.
