Introduce Yourself 2.0
It's my 2 week Steemit anniversay today and I figured I better introduce myself properly. My first intro post wasn't even worthy of the tag but to be fair I was new and had no idea what I was doing or how important the intro post is so I hope the Steemit Gods smile upon me and allow me this redo.
Hi, I'm Arlynne most people call me Arly, Facebook and Instagram knows me by Venus Ascending (previously Team Arly) and over here in Steemit world I'm bearone. I have two children, 1 teenager and 1 fur baby of the feline variety, and the most loving fiance I could ever ask for.
In my usual day job I make all sorts of things like...
Orgonite
Crystal bracelets
Canvas paintings
Before it got too cold to work with resin I was playing around with these..
I even made candles for a while until I realised the fragrances aren't good for us. Then there was that time I thought I'd recycle wine and beer bottles then stopped because my heart just couldn't handle the fear of cutting myself.
I've done a lot of things, got into a lot of things but one thing always remains constant and it's the drive to be of service to humanity in some way or form - (You'll probably get some spiritual stuff and things about planetary alignments from me from time to time.)
It's no wonder that when I found Steemit my first instinct was to be of service to the community. It was only after that decision that I saw how Steemit can change the world and that I can be a part of that just by being me.
These days I am one of Team Australia's Graphics & Marketing team, an honorary member of Team Philippines and I am extremely proud to be a member of both Teams.
I don't really have a mission statement.
I just want to make new friends, hang out with nice people, learn new things, have heaps of fun, make tons of money and share that wealth with everyone.
My short and long term goal is to be a big fat whale so I can go up vote on people's posts and drop them $1000 just cos.

Awww thank you!!! This place is definitely worth the long stay and dedication. I cant say enough nice things about the people who chill here, Steemit is like no other social media platform thats for sure.

Yes there was that awesome feeling of my vote actually being worth something. Felt like a kid in a candy store. Until it was gone, that is! I think it is a positive change, makes for a more empowered minnow brigade.
And then it was gone :(
But I like that... we are a more empowered minnow brigade! That's why the minnowsupport tag comes in handy :)

Aww thanks hun. I'm just happy to tick that off my list :D That cone orgonite is one of my favorites 💕💕 I made a mistake thats how the sand and the turquoise mixed together like that. I've never been able to make it look like that again.
