Hey!
A quick intro to who we are, what we are and most important...
WHY WE ARE?!?!
So, we are a small group of 5 individuals who love to create, learn and explore.
we heard about Steemit by mistake (or not) and immediately pooped ourselves from over the top excitement!
After some cleaning, we got it together and started a brainstorming session in which we have decided on the motive we will follow as our main theme.
We have some great ideas for different subjects and we hope you'll enjoy it.
We will write about anything esoteric, mysterious, funny or just something weird we like .
keep following us for a better future!
Peace & Bless
The Anunaki

Hello anunaki! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!

For a detailed writeup, check our post Getting Started: 5 Essential Tips for New Users.

Good luck on your Steem journey! Follow us if you like to receive more helpful tips and maximize your Steemit experience.

Welcome to the planet Steemian @anunaki. I wish all five of you much success through your sharing here.

Interestingly there's not enough content creators tackling things in relation to the esoteric or mysterious on Steemit. These are great topics so welcome. It would be cool to see content creators pushing out stuff related to topics around Graham Hancock,Erich Von Daniken, and other types of stuff in those fields. Or really anything related to the esoteric or consciousness and historical perspectives that are unorthodox. I founded and run an initiative here on Steemit called @newbieresteemday that focuses on support new members by helping them increase their content exposure and provide advice to help newbies hit the ground running. We are non profit and it's all community members who volunteer their time to help out. Feel free to give me a shout if you need a hand starting out. A lot of people try Steemit for a month and then quit because they don't get rich quick and it does take a while to get moving. But if you look past finance and focus on creating content and engaging/supporting others with common interest it does sort itself out and becomes really rewarding/fun. Best of luck and reach out if you need a hand.

I have to say, we are already feeling welcomed and so happy for the decision to try it out!
Gram is a hero of mine and someone I get a lot of inspiration from!
We would love to be part of your initiative and get some more people to enjoy our creation.
Needless to say that we are here not to get rich...but rather spread our thoughts and interconnect to all the brilliant, offstream interesting minds out there!
So thank you again for the warm welcoming! it's s(t)eems like we did the right choice comming here...

Some things you may want to check out while you're here as there are so many set ups run by people to help new users. The one we run is so small by comparison.
1: @dustsweepers
This is run by @danielsaori and was started with @davemccoy. I know Dave personally, he co founded NRD with myself and others and is a powerhouse when it comes to supporting new users. @danielsaori also has supported us and I can't praise him highly enough when it comes down to helping newbies.
2: @newbiegames
This is run by @simplymike and that girl gives tirelessly to others here on the platform. They newbiegames set up offers free prizes and contest for content creators.
Those are the main two that come up off the top of my head. If you visit @davemccoy on his blog page he's always running posts on new community initiatives, games, projects, challenges, etc. If you have any post you want resteemed then contact me. Also there are a number of different discord groups to join as most here use discord to chat casually between each other. It's a great platform to engage in swapping ideas without clogging up your comments on your posts. Best of luck. :)

Sounds good! how do I find you on discord?
And how do I contact you if I want some help promoting my content?
Blesses!

here's an invite link: https://discord.gg/
Once you're on DM me with any questions you may have or anything I can help with. :)

thanks but there is no actual link for a group or a user name to connect with...

Yeah, we are sorting that out. May be moving to a new server. In the meantime you can reach me here in replies or on the @newbieresteemday account. As you guys are intending to cover topics I'm into I'll resteem you on my personal account as well as I have followers into the same topics. Of course I'll resteem you happily on Newbie Resteem Day as well as you're new and helping the new folks is what we do. So just give me a shout when you post so I don't miss it and I'll happily do what I can to help out. :)
