Good Day Steemit Community! I am AngelliK, from the Philipipnes, a warm Greetings! I am pleased to be a part of this community.
I haven't got the chance to introduce myself yet, and this account is rather new. I am an aspiring content writer, and I hope to learn and develop through here. I can't wait to share my feelings and emotions through poems, stories, and other content with all of you! With that, here is the first short poem I wrote. Enjoy
Faded
No strings attached, but my heart quickly attaches to you...
You're no picture, but I can think of a thousand words to describe you...
A simple girl to others, but you're a princess in my eye...
Every day you got me thinking; "Can You be Mine?"
Your gentle smile, is the ranibow that calms my mightiest storms...
Your loving heart, is beauty in its most purest form...
They may say you're broken, but you're perfection in my eye...
Every day you got me asking; "Will You be Mine?"
Your childish laughter fills my mind...
Your sweet caress tickles my heart...
Your tender hugs touches my soul...
You're a part of who they are, but everything of who I am...
More and more you got me dreaming; "I can't wait to make you Mine..."
When you feel down, you can lean on my shoulder...
I'll always be here with you until the darkness is over...
Why does it hurt me, to know your heart fits him better?
The answer to my question; Will it be "never"?
I hope he treats you like a princess,
Like how I treated you like my queen...
I guess that's the end of our story,
It was such a beautiful scene...
I hope he embrace your perfection,
and learn to love your flaws...
I hope he can be your pillow,
To lean on whenever you feel lost...
No strings attached, but my heart still attaches to you...
No words can explain, why it shatters my heart into two...
Seeing you with him, still brings tears to my eye...
Everytime, you got me whispering; "You'll never be Mine..."

Welcome! I really enjoyed this poem. It is filled with such immense emotion, and the repetition at the end of each stanza is very, very powerful. I am most impressed, and was most touched by, this stanza:
'I hope he treats you like a princess,
Like how I treated you like my queen...

It really expresses the pain inflicted upon a heart after losing someone so close to you. Well done, and thank you for sharing!
