#Introduceyourhometown - the new TRAVEL GUIDE for all STEEMERS - spreadtheword and RESTEEM if you like the idea
Hello everyone,
please READ this short post and I will explain you really quickly my thoughts on this new #Introduceyourhometown! And the purpose behind it! Please also comment and tell me what you think!
Why not bring your hometown closer to everyone - the perfect travel guide from one Steemer to the other! First I thought about introducing myself, but I wont do so yet. Since everyone of you already knows I love traveling why don't we start a new travel blog by introducing our hometown! Everyone can join? No everyone should join! Wouldn't it be perfect to show everyone on steemit your hometown? Don't you know the place you live in, better than any other place? So why not share your knowledge from your "hood" with other steemers? Let us know things, we can't read in a normal travel guidebook!
If you think the same about my idea of sharing the perfect travel guide from a local steemer to the travel steemer, then please resteem and #Introduceyourhometown in your post. Maybe you will be the next one to show some hidden gems and places in your city? Everything you love about your city, you can share! Bars, Restauraunts, Museums, architectural buildings anything you want!
In the next couple of weeks I will post every now and then some hidden gems of Nuremberg! And maybe one day you visit me from far away or close by! There will always be room for a Steemer! :) Not in the near future since I'm going to Barcelona for my Semester abroad, but when I'm back. :)

One fun fact about Frankonia to you: 1. Upper Franconia has the highest density of beer breweries in the world. So come and visit Nuremberg and it's surroundings!

I wrote several posts about my city + my friend from Lviv (Ukraine) supported me, but this initiative did not get a big spread among other steemians...
If I would have been here a few months ago I would have helped! :) Resteem and make a post with #introduceyourhometown :) would love to read it... we already got another one besides mine... If we help each other I think we can make it....following you!
That's a really neat idea! I like it. I hope I have some cool pictures from my hometown, then I will definetely share them one of these days, together with a small story!

I am currently not in my hometown, so sadly I can't just go out. Of course I can also take some pictures of my "current" hometown :D. I guess I just define hometown as the place I grew up ;)
Nuremburg is so amazing, I hope I can visit one day. I love the concept of introducing the hometowns, I think this is something that will really take off. Great idea!

My hometown is in northern Delaware in the US. Very small state.

This, I think is a positive use of the steemit philosophy.
So far, after a month or so on here, all I see is posts about how to make steem how to vote on steem and how to become a steem success. That has all got tedious.
A full on travel catalogue for steemers is up there as how this platform should develop. I shall be putting one together for my tiny village later.

I think so too! I'm here for a week now and it sometimes seems people don't even read what you write in your article they just upvote to make some money out of it and it feels like politics sometimes the polititan (aka the whale) tells you what's right or wrong and good or bad... their vote weights too much... I could/would never reach as many people which is why it will most likely fail...! Please do so would love to read it and see some pictures! I love it :)
Yes, I have to agree with all of that. To the point I'm losing interest and looking for sparks of inspiration like yours. I shall be following with interest and will put something together for here.
