Now for my baby boy...my little man...my Nelson Mandela...my wee wee Willie....WILLIE NELSON! He is my baby dog. My constant companion.

We adopted Willie in 2012 from a friend whose terrier-mix, Maya, had had a litter of pups. I saw his sad eyes and fluffy face and had to have him.

Willie is 15 pounds of adorable. He goes to work with me, sleeps with me, and is always by my side.

He even goes kayaking with me on the Jacks Fork River.

He recently celebrated his fifth birthday. We spend it at the river where he likes to wade in the water and take naps in the shade on a towel.
