My Introductory post- A brief look into the life of Destiny.
My name is Destiny Amanze and I hail from the eastern part of Nigeria, Abia state to be precise. I happen to be the fourth child in a family of five children, four of which are boys leaving my junior sister as the only girl and the "ada"(being the first and only girl).
I was born and have lived the most part of my life in Lagos, dealing with the fuzz and busyness that is attached with one of the fastest growing cities of the world. I speak and understand English fluently, alongside being able to communicate well in Yoruba, Igbo and a little bit of French, I even had to include French in my O'level examination and trust me, the result was awesome. My aunt speaks Hausa fluently, so that's an added advantage to learn a new language.
I am currently studying petroleum engineering in the university of uyo located in Akwa ibom state,Nigeria,"the land of promise" as it is fondly called. I am currently in my finals, and soon I would be through with my first degree. University education brought me down to the south south region for the first time and it has been a wonderful experience as I have also learnt in bits and parts about the Ibibio language.
I heard about steemit from a friend of mine, however @nexrules and @utomobong were kind enough to put me through. Thanks to them, I have been enlightened on how to share my ideas and views about different subjects on this platform and also get to gain knowledge and insights on various subjects of life, as no knowledge is a waste.
My hobbies are reading, listening to music, making new friends, helping people and of course seeing movies.
On reading, I love physics so much that my friends called me professor photon and that's how I got my nickname. Physics made me appreciate the natural and common things that happen around us,it widened my thoughts about how things operated and why they do so, I could go on long chats with someone explaining the physics behind each and every human activity.
On music, I have a huge appetite for good music, from hip hop to Rnb to jazz to blues, you name it,the list is endless, music to me is food for the soul, I can't count how many times music has been my sedative, give me good music and you have won my heart. I am a big fan of the popular Nigerian artist, WizKid,his music inspires me to think that you can make it from anywhere, just believe you can.
I am very convinced that this platform would be beneficial to me and finally I would like to thank the pioneers @surpassinggoogle , @samstickkz, @tojukaka, @ejemai, @stach for spreading the news of the steem blockchain community.

My curation focus is on fairly new Steemit users who don't speak English as a first or primary language, but who are writing and posting in English.
I search new posts in the #introducemyself and #introduceyourself tags daily, and try to dedicate at least 40% of my article curation to new Steemit members who meet the above focus criteria.
My goal is to discover and curate an average of 4 new Steemit users per day.
I follow each person I curate because it is very encouraging for a new member to see their following grow.
At least 40% of my daily curation is dedicated to upvoting, resteeming and commenting on new articles posted by the Steemit users I am following.
I also curate comments from all Steemit users. I look to reward articles and comments which stand out as having thoughtful insight, offer benefit to the community at large and reflect the unique personality of the author.
If you have written an article that you think is particularly good, drop me a link for consideration as a daily post promotion.
There is no cost for this curation.
