Thx generantion.easy it has a rebuilt 1.9L (1900cc) with around 30-40K kilometers on it she runs like a top but a bit too slop up hill so I have ordered and Jenny has an appointment next week for all new: 2.5L Subaru (2500cc) engine complete with gear box, 5 speed transmission and disc brakes. Refurbishing to new.

...I am very handy with my hands but Jenny the DJ Vanagon is getting expert hands currently as most work being farmed out with state of the art technology like her auxiliary battery and solar panels.
