First day on steemit
I spent whole day reading posts at steemit and i like it :-)
Don't change my perspective yet and i see steemit as a good experience inside blockchain, learned a lot of interesting things and followed discussion about steemit inflation, how to manage it and a lot of suggestion to solve this problem. It's very interesting to see people interacting estimulated by the possibility to earn some cents. I understand, there are some places where some extra cents could make difference and steemit could become a way to assist people who live in such places.
My personal interest on steemit is to test a real application that uses blockchain. I'm impressed by the enthusiasm of community discussing internal economy and i think this is the best way to find a solution and make the software better. I'm not here expecting to get rich, but it's funny to see some discussions about couple of cents.
Would like to register i found some good authors and recommend for everybody, people who really do a good job: @remlaps, @chronos, @eroche. I don't know if they are whales or not, and it doesn't matter for me.

Welcome to the platform @celsogoya. When I started on steemit I have no one but people here are friendly and they love to help and teach new comers around.
Steemit is an open platform where any idiot can talk about crazy ideas and opinions. The point is almost anything not evil goes . . . People who want to talk about making home made drugs or explosives or religious fanatics are not welcome.
If your trying to find a way to get free cable television etc maybe here is not the place to surf. People who speak promote bullying or racial hatred will soon find themselves damaged by the steemians.
But otherwise anything goes, this place has such a massive weird and knowledgeable cross section of anything you can imagine you have never heard of. There is stuff here I never even suspected existed and some people actually seem to even believe some of this stuff.
Steemit is better than any Science Fiction movie, simply because it is real : )
Oh & Welcome Again ...
When you spend couple of weeks or even months, then you gonna start to understand how it works. And when and if the price of steem rise to dollars also rewards will be in dollars (hundreds and thousands) not in cents. That's why so many discussion going on.
I don't know if i will keep posting everyday or if i just save time reading dozens of websites and become a steemer, the platform is very interesting and promises to grow in the future. @oldtimer, are you here just because the rewards? What's the reason you like steemit?
This place is just different. You can do a lot of things. You should try all of them and find what is good for you. I like to read and learn new things. I'd learn a lot about crypto currencies. Some times I just like nice photo or painting, a joke maybe. I also invested a lot of money in steem power so I try to earn some money to. But at the same time with curation I try to help newcomers. Steemit is also a good place to practicing English . Mine for now is only good enough for short comments and I hope some day I'll be prepared for some real posts.
I'm curious about why you invested money in steem so early?
For the moment, i just can say it's fun to navigate and read content. Coin motivation is pretty cool and steemit is like a big video-game.
