5 Recommendations to be a good leader
Nowadays, we need heads that are willing to try new things and are honest enough to admit when their approach is wrong.
The paranoid boss never admits a mistake and develops an atmosphere in which nobody accepts it, the informers are punished and the truths are ignored.
The brave leader has the humility to accept that he has made a mistake and encourages the team to learn from them.
That is why here are 5 recommendations to be a better leader and find more easily the results you are looking for:
1- Empathy. Always, when giving a directive or facing a problem, take into account what others think and feel, mainly the people involved.
2- Learn. Never stop seeing things with astonishment, you do not know who you can learn new things from. Be alert to new learnings and share them immediately.
3- Listen Try that each conversation with the members of your team is 90% listening, 10% feedback
4- Speak truthfully. Under no circumstances allow the painful truths to turn into lies. It is better that they know the reality of things immediately and for you, than by other means.
5- Create opening atmosphere. Create dynamics or projects where employees are involved in its development and planning, always keep the communication channel open either for new projects or any circumstance that bothers them.
