BASED ON A TRUE LIFE STORY

Mr. Ansah and his family had always been a well to do 👪. They ate what they wanted, when they wanted and in the proportions they wanted. They were happy and went to church regularly (but were not really saved, just attendees) .
But in a single day their world turned upside-down; Mr. Ansah lost his job !

Then they had to start cutting down, instead of two pieces of meat 🍖 it became one, instead of buying clothes every month it became twice a year.
It looked like the end of the road. They were all in constant sadness and dispair.

As if the loss of job was not enough, a group of terrorists suddenly flooded the land, killing mercilessly, forcing them to flee the only home they ever knew, coming to settle in a house they had built in the village years back.

Living in an uncivilized new environment, no job, no friends, nothing to do, all hope seemed lost! For them

So Mr. Ansah looked to his brothers abroad for help as they were part of those who adviced him to flee the insurgency

And so Mr. Ansah travelled to New York and left his family in Nigeria. But what he met was nothing to write home about.

His brothers constantly kept nagging and complaining, insulting him to his face, taunting him saying that : he had no future plan for his family, Why was he broke? And so on, it felt like hell

What they didn't know was that Mr. Ansah answer actually had millions of savings but it all fell into the hands of 419 folks pretending to be a bank.
After sometime he came back home, sad and empty, but GOD had already made provisions for him even in that village where they were and soin beyond.

To cut the long story short, fast forward 5 years later

• Mr. Ansah and his family are living just as they used to, maybe even better and are now true believers.

• The "rich" brothers are broke, sick and without any family to help them because they were careless, selfish and put their trust in only man.

My take on the story.

I pondered in my heart why GOD first allowed them to suffer and loose everything.

In my heart i heard: **If they hadn't been scammed and were rich, the terrorists would have had an eye on them and killed the whole family.
Plus he wanted them to get so low then experience a miracle of revival, strengthening their faith in him.

Sometimes not having something at a particular time could be for our own good, to make us live longer and eventually shame our enemies
