Everything Has A Price (2)
Price is the amount of money we pay for exchange of good and services. But from a logical point of view prices are not only limited to markets. For every decision we make, the reward is the outcome, which could be negative or positive, while the price is the activities leading to that outcome. The further interpretation of this, is that nothing is free. To be at the top, we must sacrifice our energy, face the pain, and make the conscious effort to climb to the peak. This principle applies from the simplest to the most complex things in life. We most make the effort to grasp whatever we want in life. The statement we don't stumble into greatness is a unique example.
A pictorial example is a farmer who intends to have a good harvest, the first step is the decision, the decision stirs up questions within him on how to achieve his heart desires, and this is followed by options like, land preparation, going for the best seeds and quantity, type of fertilizer that will be suitable for his crop. His thoughts are followed by planned actions, and the outcome is a bountiful harvest.
A second example is that of a student that wants to improve his grades. The first step is always the decision, followed by the question 'how to go about it'. The price to pay is the action that follows the decision. So this points to us, that we have everything in our hands. Every action has an origin from decision, and we are responsible for our thoughts, actions, and outcome. Think of the price and the outcome before you act, and note that not all line of thoughts may lead to a positive outcome. Never neglect your conscience in any decision because it is a guiding tool. Let your decision by guided by love, because anything that lacks love, lacks justification.
