Grashoppers for Insect Day
It's been a while since I posted for Butterfly and Insect Day, the contest run by @whatisnew.
I found this big grasshopper or locust on the wall next to the door of my hotel room when I was on Koh Lipe, Thailand.
Big and yellow, I have never seen anything like that but I am not sure if I can call it grasshopper or locust. Maybe someone can help me to identify it. I made just couple of shots and it jumped and was gone.
The next day I was lucky to see another grasshopper, smaller and greem.
Slowly the little creature moved and tried to hide behind that leaf.
The must have beem others I missed to see. But at least I have these two.

I have never seen anything like the first one either. It is huge and look at those colors. The all green is cute hiding behind the leaf and look at that face! YAY! Amazing photos as always. : )

I only regret that I had little chance for finding other bugs in Thailand. So, I am left only with these two.
I think you need to make another trip for taking photos only and nothing else. LOL!
