Unlike the existing types of batteries, composite polymeric supercondensers accumulate and give a charge in seconds (at most, minutes), but not hours. But they have shortcomings — each such cycle reduces a condenser resource, in addition they are very fragile and short-lived. However researchers from the Cambridge university believe that the "lollipop method" developed by them will help to solve this problem.
