So Donald Trump Jr tweeted out to complain about CNN lying about his dad President Trump. Which is not that unusual but Don Jr also shared a photo of Anderson Cooper standing in awfully deep water compared to his cameraman. Now this photo was from a hurricane back in 2008 and Don Jr never said the photo was staged or faked. He just said CNN was lying about his dad but Anderson Cooper took to the air waves Monday night denouncing a claim that was never made against him.

A fired up Anderson Cooper took aim at the president's son on his show AC 360 Monday night in response to a tweet and Instagram post that was shared over the weekend.

Donald Trump Jr shared a photo of Cooper in waist-deep water that mocked the anchor and his network, prompting a nearly ten-minute diatribe on his CNN show AC 360 in which he explained the photo and called the first son's posts a 'lie.'

He then got personal, mocking Don Jr's penchant for hunting as he stated: 'Now I debated tonight about whether I should even respond to the president's son, I know he considers himself an outdoorsman who pays a lot of money to be led to wildlife in Africa that he then kills, but I don't know if he's actually ever been to a hurricane or a flood.'

So was Anderson Cooper faking it?

Well take a look at another photo with a different angle and notice the white line under the water behind the cameramen. That looks to me to be the edge of a highway which Cooper admits in the video they are right next to the highway. So Cooper is actually standing off the highway in the ditch making the flood water come up to his waist when it's actually not that deep.

So fake no. Staged, misleading or dramatized? I think so. While I'll admit CNN is the king of misleading their audience ever news media organization does it. They pick the best background, the most damaged homes, biggest disaster areas, etc to attract more viewers. Clearly Cooper is standing in lowest spot in the area which is a ditch next to the highway to paint a picture of a devastated area.

What's funny about this is that Anderson Cooper goes to great lengths to debunk a claim that was never made against him and he goes to great lengths to reassure his audience that he does not fake or sensationalize a story when clearly all the news media do it. He should of just kept his big mouth shut but now average Joe's like me are taking to social media to point out the sensationalize at CNN and else where in the media.
