I am not on board with this idea...
I am seeing a lot of propaganda like the above but lets be honest here. What is really being said is that drone strikes don't count as war. Well alright. I guess because its a machine remote controlled or otherwise that just kinda flies around blowing shit up its not technically war. Bernie Sanders has already approved of this line of thinking. Most politicians are totally cool with this shit. Obama pretty much wrote the book on this.
Well then by that standard, assassination shouldn't be considered an act of war either! If you surgical strike the fuckers in charge then its not a war! Imagine a world where all that ever happens is surgical strikes on the people in charge bypassing all need to ever make use of troops or vehicles. No need for aircraft carriers. No civilian casualties. Just a long line of dead leaders. Nukes are pointless at this point.

Anyway, my actual feelings on this is that drones do count as war and assassination should as well. It should all just be war.
But these days maybe war is just something else. I think the old school wars are kinda not going to happen anymore.
Besides, creating an environment that is likely to lead to greater conflict down the road shouldn't really count as "stopping" war either.
Yeah makes sense. Its pretty dumb to say Trump stopped the war, he really just stopped that one dude basically. That shit hole is never going to stop fighting over random stuff.
