The largest indoor race in the World is going on in Tulsa; called the Chili Bowl Nationals!

Well, I failed you guys; I tried to get into the Chili Bowl Race here in Tulsa, to get some pictures for you guys to see. BUT I found out that the tickets they are selling are for Next Year....

Apparently, the race is so popular, that the people coming now, buy their ticket for Next year; to get a seat. I couldn't get inside at all.

This is a picture of the race itself. The whole thing is set up inside the largest inside structure I am aware of, originally set up to allow drill rigs, inside a building. It was called the International Petroleum Exposition Building, and has about 600,000 square feet under it's roof!

They move in tons of dirt, and set up a race track, inside this building. This is a week long meet and is a National Championship Race! It was originally sponsored by a local company called Chili bowl; that makes frozen Chili. It got too big, and expensive for this one small company to sponsor alone, but they kept the name. This is undoubtedly the largest indoor race in the World; and the only dirt track race you can watch in January in your shirt sleeves

They are concluding this Race today, so if you want to go NEXT Year; you better buy your Tickets Now! Or get turned away like I did, LOL!
