The government is now spying on FaceBook's whats app; with World class hacker's anti-terrorists software!

Just when you thought it was safe to back in the FB water, their owned application (whats app) is apparently hacked by one of the alphabet soup agency of the US Government. That begs the question, WHY?

Since the liberals already OWN FB, why would the government even need to hack them? Then what would they gain they don't already have? Is this just for plausible deniability?

This month, the chat app WhatsApp asked all their users to update their systems after a spyware attack.

The attack, however, has all the hallmarks of a “government-sponsored surveillance” attempt, according to Mac Slavo at SHTFPlan.com.

The app, owned by FaceBook, said earlier this month that malicious hackers were able to install spyware on Android phones as well as iPhones and asked users to make sure that their security is up to date.

Whats App tried to counter this by asking users to do a full update on all software.

Many users reportedly complained about the notifications they received from WhatsApp on Monday to update their software. They said that the notifications did not inform them of any security threat, in fact, a pretty serious omission considering the security flaw WhatsApp discovered could have allowed a hacker to read a user’s text messages.

This attack uses a special software from the NSO Group, developed for government and law enforcement use.

The Financial Times is also alleging that the software used to try to breach the WhatsApp system was developed by the NSO group, an Israeli-based security company.

NSO Group replied, saying, “NSO’s technology is licensed to authorized government agencies for the sole purpose of fighting crime and terror.”

I guess what bothers me most here is what level of spying is acceptable to these evil people? They OWN FB, who Owns Whats app, and Both programs central core use is data mining; so top of that, they also feel the need to hack into this multi layer spying system to spy at another level! This doesn't even include a parallel spy system called google....

So again, HOW much spying is enough?

Every time they nibble off more information, we lose a little more of our freedoms! How can we hold them to account for this abuse of power?
