The battle lines of the next Civil War are forming in the State of Virginia; as Tyranny rises there, under liberal control!

The liberal controlled Virginia State government is focussed on removing all guns from citizens of that State, by any method! Twenty Two Counties have reacted against this tyranny by passing Laws making their counties and cities into Second Amendment Sanctuaries. The liberals are furious, and are threatening use of the National Guard to Force their new Laws upon innocent Citizens!

Although the Governor has admitted publically that his new regulations would not have stopped the attacks recently in Virginia. He is, however, so committed to taking all civilian firearms, that he is proceeding with the following proposals:

Gov. Northam and his gun grabbing allies’ Policy Proposals

Criminalizing private transfers with “universal” background checks: According to law enforcement, the perpetrator of the shooting in Virginia Beach legally purchased the firearms used in the attack from licensed dealers and passed background checks.

Banning commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles: The Virginia Beach tragedy was committed with handguns, not so-called "assault weapons."

Banning most standard-capacity magazines: Following the shooting, Virginia Beach Police Chief James Cervera stated, "As far as more legislation on gun issues. I’m a member of Major City Chiefs, we did publish something about a year and a half ago. I don’t think most of that would have mattered in this particular case. We do have the Second Amendment it is very stringent for our country. In this particular case, the weapons were obtained legally. Everything was done in a legal manner by this individual."

Banning firearm silencers/suppressors: Despite the name, firearms are still very loud when using a silencer/suppressor. The outcome of the attack at Virginia Beach would be no different with or without a silencer/suppressor.

Rationing Second Amendment rights by limiting firearm purchases to one per month: The perpetrator used two handguns to carry out the attack. The perpetrator bought one of the pistols in 2016 and the other in 2018.

Further victimizing those who suffer loss or theft for failing to report lost or stolen firearms: The firearms used in the Virginia Beach tragedy were purchased through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer.

Imposing government standards for storing firearms and requiring them be made unavailable for self-defense: The alleged perpetrator was 40 years old at the time of the attack. A government-mandated safe storage law would have had no effect on the attack.

This article then points out the obvious:

Allowing localities to pass their own gun control: Like many of the other proposed gun control ideas, weakening state firearms preemption would have done nothing to prevent the tragedy in Virginia Beach because criminals, by definition, do not follow the law. These laws and others are only effective in restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners.

They did Not point out that this Must result in more shootings, and increased violence, directly due to unarmed victims in state wide quantities.

The reactions by the governor is to threaten consequences on those exercising their Constitutional Powers through the enumerated powers contained therein!

His threats begin simple:

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) says he is not opposed to counties declaring Second Amendment Sanctuary status but he vows “consequences” if those counties refuse to enforce gun control.

The opposition begins simple:

On December 10, 2019, Breitbart News reported CNN’s tally of over 40 counties that have declared Second Amendment Sanctuary status. And on December 12, 2019, Breitbart News reported that more than 1,000 residents attended the Chesapeake City Council meeting and cheered as that city declared it will defend Second Amendment rights.

The push back to these threats has been immediate, and severe:

The Associated Press reports the number of Second Amendment declarations sits at above 50, if one counts cities and counties together.

These declarations are all part of an effort for cities and counties to get out in front of Democrats’ assumption power in January, at which time they expected to pass numerous new gun controls.

WTKR reports that Gov. Northam is okay with the declarations, but makes clear there will be “consequences” if gun control laws are not enforced.

Here is the hole in the Governors argument:

Ironically, any law enforcement “consequences” would have to be handled by….law enforcement. And at least one law enforcement official–Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins–says he will “deputize thousands” to defend gun rights, should new gun controls be instituted.

IF WE THE PEOPLE do Not delegate this power to the Government, it is NOT THEIRS to regulate or enforce! ALL Power remains in the hands of the Citizens, and power is only Loaned to the government...the Governor of Virginia has forgotten who he works for! He needs to be recalled to remind him of this Fact....

Moving away from simple threats, liberals in Virginia escalate their threatened response to include military force! This is Blatently Non-Constitutional! The government is Not allowed to send troops against US Citizens, it is Illegal!

With that in mind, we see their illegal response, to Citizens exercising their Constitutional Rights!

Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA) suggests Gov. Ralph Northam (D) can activate the National Guard and use it to force Second Amendment sanctuary counties to honor gun control.

There are dozens upon dozens of Second Amendment sanctuary counties and numerous sanctuary cities too. And the number continues to grow. On December 12, 2019, Breitbart News reported that Northam said Second Amendment sanctuary counties will face “consequences” for refusing to enforce gun control.

This is a prefect example of the value of the Electoral College! The liberal cities are imposing their will on the majority of counties that do NOT want a Tyrannical central government infringing on their Rights; by simple weight of numbers. This was why the founding Fathers set up the Electoral College; to avoid the conflict that destroys all straight Democracies, when they move to tyranny using those who are parasites and vote money from that government.
