RE: Nancy Pelosi has trapped herself, with these articles of Impeachment; because she can't turn them over, to the Senate!
I even wear full hi visibility orange Camo when I don't need to! The deer are color blind, so the last doe I took looked right at me, and didn't see me.
I actually have a full body suit that is heavily insulated, because deer season is in the dead of Winter here. I hunt from a blind, a tree stand, and sometimes I just sit at the bottom of a big tree.
She was very tasty too, LOL! I was using the 300, and she popped up 150 yards away. Not quite fair.... She was big for here, 150 pounds after I field dressed her!
Open season here is Beaver, Pig, Coyotes, and small game. They took a wild pig locally that was over a ton, I never have seen one that big before! They used a front end loader, and sent it to the local food bank!

There's no laws about wearing high-viz for hunting here, but I can see the point in an area that has many people hunting within it. I've never hunted from a blind, you could teach me a thing or two I think..
We have wild pigs here too...I've never seen one that big in real life, 1 ton, but I know they are out there. Razorback hunting is exhilarating...Pucker-inducing at times.
I use an m1a1 for that in 308. I like the 20 rounds in the magazine....
The more normal sized pigs here are in the 200 pound range. They called him Frankenpig in the paper, LOL!
:)>I've shot my fair share in Northern New South Wales and into Queensland a few big ones. I took the tusks of the first I shot years back. Still have them.
I don't eat pork, but they are begging hunters to shoot them where ever they see them!
A friend shot one with a 6.5 Swedish, and did a Quigley.
Tusks make good scrimshaw, and jewelry!
:)>Pigs cause a lot of damage here, they are feral not native. There's a tax rebate available for shooters in Queensland if they shoot pigs, but none needs that motivation. I know guys who hunt them with dogs and bayonets. Brutal and dangerous. Funny, I don't eat pork either. My wife is pescetarian (no meat except seafood) so I tend to eat the same a lot. I eat meat though, when we are out of having BBQ's.
Too many problems with pork, they are garbage disposals!
I like fish, plan to raise my own in an Aquaponics system; at the new place!
I will grill steaks tomorrow, LOL
:)>I agree re: Pork. Although in the past I've eaten my share of bacon. Not now though. BBQ tomorrow? Sounds good. We're off to see my dad in the nursing home which always sucks but we do it weekly. (He has dementia). This week we have my brother and his lad with us (16 month old) and he'll meet his grandpa for the first time.
That is tough to deal with! Ginko Biloba is the best herbal for that.
16 months is a FUN age, that part will be fun at least!
I used to hit Pork pretty heavy myself, until I got the looking at the problems tied to it....
Be Blessed!
