Most don't know that the lion's share of the book of Revelations is repeated from elsewhere in the Bible. That is why I don't trust their "translation" of that book! It is not a translation, only an opinion.
I have both, seems to be the best mix. The IR cameras I have are wired, the others are RF linked. Look for a good DVR, that is the core of the system.

I have no idea what you're saying about the security cameras. Can you get reasonably priced ones?
IR (Infared) cameras see in the dark with IR Light sources, and they are usually wired because of the power needed on the IR Lights. The RF linked cameras are often battery powered.
The DVR is a Digital Video Recorder, and the more memory you can get inside the DVR, the more video it can record....
