President Trump stops throwing good maney after bad, and defunds a Ca rail project that is late, but never started!
After using Millions of tax dollars to pay for a High speed rail system in California, but not starting the project, the Ca governor has asked for more money! President Trump reviewed the project that was late and unstarted, and refused to keep sending money that was just being diverted to social programs anyway.
The California Governor is furious, a full blown temper Tantrum. But they were not doing what they said they would, so canceling this program is good, but the next step needs to be a full investigation on where the money went! Some one took this money, for over a decade, promising a project, and nothing has been started. Someone needs to go to Prison for this theft of Tax money!

President Trump is correct. There was a specific project, that has been paid for, buy not begun, for a high speed rail line in California. Since the project remains a concept years after it was to be in operation; The US Government is correct to stop throwing money down this specific rat hole; there is no longer an agreement, as Ca violated their part of that agreement.
Out of all the wasteful Democratic-run states, California might be the worst. They burn through taxpayer dollars, with little to show for it. Perhaps the best example of this is a project that got started over ten years ago, has cost the state (and entire country) billions, and there’s no end in sight. To stop the madness, Trump just dropped a hammer on California.
The theft of tax money no longer even carries a stigma, even though it is a felony. Someone that allowed this should be jailed! Sounds to me that the Governor should be that inmate....
There needs to be penalties for breaking the Law! Politicians need to be Reminded that THEY are not above the Law, and that they work for US. They do NOT Rule US either! Lock this fool up-for his crimes.

I have been busy, so I have not looked, but they are beginning trading on the crypto wallets, so it is close. It will be interesting where they stabilize out.

I worry about California. They are dying from overspending, and keep spending more. Why do they not see the danger? No power grid due to freezing electric costs (all is out of date now) and no decent source of water (it comes from out of state for most of it), topped with no money from bad spending programs.
The whole state will look like Detroit soon, SMH!

The biggest problem may be with the people in the larger cities as they tend to know less about these things and yet they vote like as if they know more than they do. The state of California, like most states, and the federal government, probably has too much power, over the counties, the cities, the neighborhoods, the communities, the farms, the forest, the land in general, an abuse of the 9th amendment which is all about retaining unused federal and state power back to the people, to the cities, the communities, which seems to be a mechanism for the balancing of the 3 or 4 branches of government, that is the reduction of the tyranny of federal government, the three branches of gov, to return power back to the 4th branch, that is the individuals, we the people.
Republic Over Democracy
America has been better as a republic that seeks to help protect minorities in the face of mob-ruling democracy of majorities, and minorities can come from individual choices made by individuals which would mean each person has the potential of being minority and majority based on their choices, beliefs, and everything.
So true, liberal arrogance of their own abilities; combines with the massive ignorance and their fluid standards; id the cause of most of our problems today.
Combined with their profligate spending to "Fix" perceived problems; they continually force US towards insolvency.
Few understand that we are a Republic, most thing we are a Mob ruled Democracy! This is why they are doing a bums rush to try to move to popular vote for POTUS.
This would finish the Republic, because a handful of counties would run the entire Nation! Stuffing the Ballot box in these infected states, would ensure permanent power to these criminals; and unrelenting servitude to the rest of us!
