President Trump stops a war, permanently; with the stroke of a pen, and common interests!

in #informationwar5 years ago

Say what you want, but real diplomacy is easy to recognize. THIS is Real Diplomacy...ending a war by convincing the aggressor that it is their best interest to stop killing their victims. It is a real shame that the MSM will refuse to cover this news! This is also what made the US great to begin with, curbing aggression. A diplomatic coup unheralded is still a great win for everyone concerned.

Article on the end of a war, thanks to President Trump:

Amazing work for any President! Stopping a war with; meetings, agreements, and the stroke of a pen! Bet you never hear this from the networks....

They would slash their own wrists, before reporting anything on President Trump that is true or positive!

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that conditions have been met that indicate a “permanent ceasefire” between Turkey and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which has prompted the president to lift the sanctions on Ankara that were implemented by the United States after their invasion of northern Syria.

The President spoke at the White House about the volatile region, and said that while a “permanent ceasefire” will be tough to maintain, he hopes it will finally put an end to the conflict between Turkey and the Kurds.

Beats the Hell out of the bombs the liberals seem to prefer!

IMPRESSIVE President Trump, very impressive!

Sort:

I was unsure at first with Trump's Syria withdrawal but results speak for themselves. Turkey stopped, Russia handed a mess while the US preserves its true interests (stopping Iran & oil).
While there were some atrocities from Turkish forces, the overall death toll on Kurds was pretty small.

While I support the Kurds, they need to get organised and united to claim a state for themselves, just like the Jews did. No one is going to hand it to them on a plate.

I hate seeing our troops dying for the safety of others, when they will not stand up and defend themselves!

This was done as a business deal, where everyone comes out ahead. Solid diplomacy, because everyone wins. That is how you make peace last, where everyone has something to loose, if they renege on peace!

The Kurds have seen violence and death for a long time, but you are right, they need to organize, so they are NOT a soft target anymore!

but nobody invited US or turkish troops into syria? its an invasion into syria done by Turkey and FSA both supported by trump? war could have ended quickly if turkey and USA never stepped into syria in the first place and left the situation just to Assad and Russia. kurds never even had their country in syria before the war? if u want to help the kurds give the country kurdistan membership in the UN and their land back (but in turkey and iraq) that is being occupied for almost a century by turkey.

Bad area for sure, they have been killing there for centuries! Genocide was rampant a century ago, they were trying to do it again. So it is good someone interrupted them!

The UN is pretty worthless, and does little to actually protect people.

with genocides you mean the ones done by turkey like the armenia genocide or genocides done on kurds? that country that was not interrupted by america but america helped to do another genocide by willingly handing over the US gained territory to turkey? also isis happened in the first place cuz of the iraq war destabilized the sunni shia powers, hence saudi funded sunni terrorists while iran funded shia hezbollah.... iraq is the buffer zone for the 2 nations iran and saudi... isis was even funded by the US at the beginning to destabilize the country...

When the initial genocide happened in the early 1900's this country was a third world ag nation. It had no power to project into the middle east. ...

Personally, I would like to see us out of that region. Let them take care of their own messes!

>:(

at least we agree on that we are against US military intervention :)

I am tired of our troops being used as cannon fodder, to protect the money for certain people.

Let the Arabs fight the Arabs, They hate each other due to religion variations, and they will continue to kill one another until they kill one side off.

I see no reason to put our Men between them!

:)>

But are there not different Kurd factions? Just like the Jews. But regardless, I agree that they should fight for their independence.

Sir smithlabs! I just hope this thing holds.

Both sides have something to loose, so I think that will hold. THAT may be a first!

:)>

A business man knows that both sides need to win.

Politicians have never figured that out, so the wars continue.

:)>

yes, a way of life. Sometimes I wonder if they know why they're fighting.

Yes, a way of life.
Sometimes I wonder if they
Know why they're fighting.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

Cute, LOL! Nice haiku.

They are masters at the Feud, and this is a family tiff. They will continue to kill each other until the sky splits to the East, SMH! They fight, because Satan is in control of all of them.

:'(

yay the amazing trump! the super power to stop anything that he started.... the CIA did start the arab spring there and funded terrorists (including isis and FSA) and bombed syrian troops and create a fake story filmed by US funded white helmets about the "douma attack" that never happened and then left Syria directly handing over the territory gained to turkey that was doing the genocide in the first place. trump did it again.

he puts kids into cages and then releases them again.
he shuts the government down and turns it on again.
he quid pro quo with ukraine, and then handed willingly the evidence over to end his presidency which he started.

master of disaster.

What do you think about Hong Kong?

oh well just the usual things like china should wait the agreed 30 more years before it can undermine the sovereignty and freedoms in hongkong, the majority of parliament seats should be directly elected in hong kong, joshua wong and other protest leaders should be allowed to represent the people in parliament without being denied to do so, people should be free to protest, and apple and similar companies should be sued for illegally imposing chinese censorship on hong kong and taiwan. also i think they make great and cheap computers, but im surprised my HK friend cant even handle spicy food or food containing a bit of pepper... i think their housing is too expensive and they have a too uneven wealth distribution and they should tax the wealthy more... also cantonese is too difficult...

I think I agree with what you are saying. What do you think about the NBA?

löl NBA is just 1 example of many who deny or cover up facts to please china... its just cuz there are so many hongkongers on the streets that this situation cannot be ignored anymore that people actually notice and give it media attention... what about holywood covering up concentration camps in china by changing the plot of the movie world war Z so that the virus that started the zombie apocalypse did not start in chinas organ trade (like it did in the book) but in north korea? what about Volkswagen opening a factory in Xinjiang to exploit uigur concentration camp workers? what about western news not reporting about the concentration camps in china for 20 years due to fear their journalists getting no work visa in china or imprissoned and what about the politicians not speaking out to it in fear of economic peanalties from china? the same countries that said after the world war that ignorance allowed the attrocities happen look away when china has their own concentration camps. all of them are making me sick.

i havent gotten to see the chinese censorship episode of southpark yet but i hear it covers a lot of the sensitive things that media companies and politicians self censor, and it was screened in hong kong publicly by the protestors because of that.

Yeah, I saw that. I love South Park. Yeah. China is involved in so many different things. Very bad things. Very long story. You know it.
